CIRCULATION

The film character has lots to do. He has to turn around and go up the stairs. She needs to descend the stairs to take a lift. He has to rush through a corridor to enter a space only to leave it straight away. There might be a plot but it might not matter, what the character always needs to do is to keep moving through.

The film Circulation is composed using the moves of existing characters. They are joined in a split screen in order to pass through an imaginary building. It explores an idea of a collage film that is approached as choreography. The bodies of the characters merge into unique moves and postures. The plot and the narrative are left to imagination while the movement itself takes centre stage.
